I was out doing some yard work this morning and noticed the light dew buildup on, what I believe, is a jasmine bush. I decided to see what I could get in a macro photo and below is the what came out. I only took 2 photos of the jasmine and checked them out and really enjoyed the very first one I took. So that was all I took. Some of the photos I take, I take anywhere from 4-25 pictures of it. I keep going until I find what I’m looking for, even if I am not quite sure what that is.
I really enjoy the depth of field that I was able to get in this photo. It is really interesting that even though things may be out of focus in a picture, it can still add a great deal of feel and tone to the overall picture. I really enjoy that only a small portion of this photo is actually in focus.
Lets Learn Something
I did some research and I found out that the Jasmine is a genus of shrubs and vines from the olive family. They are native to tropical and warm regions in the world. There are a lot of blooms on the jasmine bush in my back yard right now and it smells wonderful!
Hope you enjoy this photo as much as I do!
